- Rawhiti was originally Geraldine’s Maternity Home and some of the original features have been retained.
- The rooms are on one floor and are fitted with an automated smoke/heat detector system.
- No smoking is permitted anywhere in the building.
- Lock up cycle shed and a bicycle stand.
- Ample off street parking.
- Electric blankets.
- The television is available during the winter months.
- Wireless and internet vouchers can be purchased.
- Guests are provided with a room key and a front door key.
- We have no en-suite rooms.
- The house is not suitable for children under six years of age.
- Camping or sleeping in vehicles is not permitted on the property.
- The facilities are for our guests use only.
- Puzzles, games and a book exchange are available.

We are strict about our departure time of 10am. The facilities are not available for use after 10am unless you are staying over.
Check in: 2pm – 9pm
We greet our guests personally and show you to your rooms.
Our check in closes at 9pm and keys are not left out for people to arrive after this time.
The local supermarket hours are 7am - 8pm daily.
There is a good mix of restaurants, bars, cafes and takeaway options in the Village, all an easy few minutes walk away.
